THE Mustang is a classic two-plus-two, with space only for occasional passengers in the back. The front engine, rear-drive layout means a greedy intrusion of the transmission tunnel up front resulting in a tight fit for the driver's left leg that even the extensive re-engineering job hasn't been able to remedy.
