BRAKING power in the Laser 1.6 comes via power-assisted, vented, 235mm diameter discs at the front and 200mm drums at the rear. The Laser 1.8 is equipped with discs all around. Front brake pads are now high-friction co-efficient for improved effectiveness and feel. Rigidity of the front brake calliper is also increased. Anti-lock brakes are not available
