LIKE its sister vehicle the 323 Astina, the latest generation Laser hatchback - christened Sportswagon by Ford - has become a more conservative car. The two are basically the same to look at, with differentiation wrought by a Ford styling team based at Mazda in Japan. The LXi is the cheaper specification of the two offered, the GLXi being the top-speccer.
