FUN, funky and fresh, the Ford Ka is an automotive styling statement that is a stark contrast to every Ford small car offering since the early-sixties, reverse-slant Anglia 105E. Oddly enough, the Ka shares its engine (albeit much improved and redeveloped) with the Anglia, but its packaging, ride and equipment levels are thankfully more 1990s than 1960s. Lacking automatic transmission or five-door options provides stumbling blocks for buyers, but Ford is hopeful fashion-conscious teenagers will be smitten. As well they might.
