PAST hot-hatch specialist Ford is back in the game – and right on the money – with the sensational Focus ST, a modern-day XR5 Turbo, with one less cylinder, 500cc less capacity but a whole lot of oomph from a 2.0-litre four-pot petrol charmer. Even if this German five-door grand tourer was priced alongside the Golf GTI and Renaultsport Megane 265, we would still probably declare it a winner.
