First look: Ford unveils facelifted Fiesta

BY MARTON PETTENDY | 6th Dec 2005

FORD Australia will continue to price its Fiesta small hatch from $15,990 when the facelifted WQ-series hits the streets next month.

The company has revised its pricing structure, however, claiming better value for money with price reductions of around five per cent on some models and the inclusion of standard air-conditioning and other features across the range.

The entry-level LX three-door (manual) model now has ABS with EBD available as a $700 option, while the auto version, which has ABS standard, is now priced from $18,190. Ditto for the LX five-door, which now starts from $16,490, with the auto version priced from $18,690.

Available from March, the sports-themed Zetec three-door has 16-inch alloy wheels, sports suspension and, on the manual, revised gear ratios. It remains priced from $18,490, with auto adding $1500.

The range-topping Ghia five-door is priced from $20,490 (auto $1500), with side and curtain airbags listed as a $900 option.
