THE WB Festiva was designed about a decade ago by Toshi Saito from Ford's Pacific Rim Design Centre in Hiroshima. While not offensive, today that largely unaltered shape looks staid alongside new arrivals like the Ka mini, Toyota Echo and Hyundai Accent. Festiva has been through several minor upgrades since 1994, the most recent (WF) revising the grille, headlights, tail-lights and bumpers. And at this end of the market, uncontroversial looks - and price - count for a lot.
