FALCON SR uses Ford's Smartshield security system which features a high-grade engine immobiliser. The keypad has a two-stage door unlock button and a panic button. Buttons on the keypad are: door lock, door unlock, boot unlock and panic. Falcon has a remote boot lock that shuts down after a short time delay.
