THE remote central locking has an anti-hijack function, which initially unlocks the driver's door only for greater security. The Smartshield transponder type system incorporates control buttons for door lock/unlock (which also de/activates the interior light), boot/tailgate and "Panic" mode. There is an internal lock/unlock button, rear window lock, child locks for the rear doors, door ajar warning, lockable glovebox and engine immobiliser, but no alarm.
