BOOT capacity is 431 litres, down on the 460 litres of the petrol fuelled car because of the lack of a spare wheel well and the resultant need to locate the spare inside the boot itself. The bootlid can be operated by remote control via the keypad, or from a button on the dash. For safety, this will not actuate when the engine is running. The Falcon's 60/40 split-fold rear seat gives it an advantage over Commodore's skiport-only design.
