A REMOTE central locking system incorporates control buttons for door lock/unlock, boot/tailgate and "Panic" mode. Power front windows became standard on Forte in March, 1999, while rear power windows are optional on both wagon and sedan. The remote control rearview mirrors are operated via a switch on the driver's door. The master switch for the headlights is mounted on the right side of the instrument panel and separate map-reading lights are provided as part of the roof-mounted sunglasses holder. The Falcon's steering wheel is adjustable for both reach and height.
