THE XR6 VCT ute is one of the premium models in the Falcon ute range, sitting just below the top-of-the-line XR8 model. The AU utility range offers a choice of three grades, three body styles, five engines, two transmissions and three suspension settings. The Pursuit ute was initially released as a limited edition model but proved so popular that Ford decided to offer most of its features as standard equipment on the regular XR6 ute. While the XR models are focussed more on play than work, the recipe is still proving to be a popular one, as sales of the Falcon ute continue to soar despite fresh competition from Holden's VU model.
