FORD now has a ute well qualified to challenge Holden's much more modern - although due to be replaced next year - offering. And the Ford is more than a mere carry-all. It comes in three forms - ute, cab chassis and dropside tray - and bristles with clever and practical design. Stylish in all its various forms, it is also a good drive as well as being a more than competent workhorse with its extended wheelbase and, in ute guise, a large, practical tray area. Although if you require the ute to carry a tonne, you will have to pay a little more.
