OVERALL cargo volume is increased compared with the previous model. The opening rear glass has a lower lift-over height for easier loading, while locating the spare tyre underneath the vehicle allows uninterrupted loading space. A one-handed control folds the second-row seat down and flips it forward, to offer access to the third row. The third row seat folds down to create a large cargo area. A pneumatic lifter flips the second row seats up and out of the way. A one-hand operation returns the second row to its seating position. A lever on the back of the second row makes exiting easy for passengers sitting in the third row. When both the second and third rows are folded, a flat 115cm by 200cm cargo surface stretching from the front seats to the tail gate is provided. A button on the key fob opens the glass in the rear hatch while leaving the doors locked. The second row seat is split 40/20/40 to offer ease of access to the third row, and the ability to customise the cargo area for long or odd-sized cargo. Storage features include water bottle holders in the front door pockets and two underfloor storage bins in the five-seat model (one in the seven-seat model) to keep small items out of sight. The fold-flat cargo area is designed for versatility without the need to remove seats.
