THE Explorer has always attracted buyers on the basis of its handsome looks.

Pumped-up guards, a long, wide stance and fat off-road style wheels and tyres have always ensured other road users are in no doubt about the Explorer's intentions. It is also one of the longest 4WDs you can buy this side of a LandCruiser or Patrol. There is a new generation Explorer on the way, which is a little squarer in its execution but basically evolutionary in its styling.
