FIAT is offering drive-away pricing across its Punto compact hatch range during April, claiming savings of up to $3000.

All versions of the Punto, including the recently launched T-Jet turbo, qualify for the offer.

The Punto range comprises two trim levels (Dynamic, Sport), four engines (1.4 petrol, 1.4 petrol turbo, 1.3 diesel, 1.9 diesel) and two bodystyles (three-door and five-door).

All models are fitted standard with ABS brakes, six airbags, cruise control, air-conditioning, remote central locking, electric front windows, a CD stereo and “follow me home headlamps”.

Punto pricing starts from $19,990 for the 57kW 1.4-litre Dynamic manual five-door, rising $1500 for the same variant with the five-speed Dualogic self-shifting gearbox.

The 66kW 1.3-litre JTD five-door diesel is priced from $23,990 – Dualogic, this time with six ratios, adds $1500 – while the three-door Sport range starts from $25,990 for the 88kW 1.4-litre turbo petrol, paired with a five-speed manual.

At the top of the range sits the $27,990 Sport JTD, which offers a 96kW 1.9-litre diesel and six-speed manual. No five-door body or automatic transmission is available with the Sport.
