Fiat sharpens pricing of vans and small car

FIAT has turned to driveaway pricing to move showroom stocks of its vans and small Ritmo hatch.

The entire Fiat commercial van range benefits from the deal, including the Scudo, Ducato and all versions of the Ducato.

Fiat says the driveaway deal is worth between $3700 and $4700.

A free alloy tray valued at $3000 is also being offered for the Ducato cab chassis.

The Fiat commercial range starts with the Scudo van at $36,990 and runs all the way to the Ducato extra-long-wheelbase van at $55,990.

Fiat hopes the lure of driveaway pricing, as well as a significant price cut, will give the small Ritmo passenger car a push.

Previously, the Ritmo range started at $24,990 for the Dynamic model, but the new deal sees that car available for $19,990 driveaway.

The diesel Ritmo Dynamic was $29,990, but is now $24,990.

Fiat says the deals save customers $7500, and it hastens to add that they are only available for a short time.
