FIAT is still in there with the 500, keeping the nine-year old retro design fresh with a raft of updates.

Most pertain to the up-spec Lounge, but the base Pop, while missing out on the fancier new instruments, does gain a few upgrades, while still maintaining the loveable character of the old car.

At $22K plus, it is affordable for a convertible, but expensive for a sub-B-segment supermini. Can the 500C cut it as one?

NOTE: Images shown are of the $25,000 (plus on-road costs) Fiat 500C Lounge variant.
