YRV can hold five occupants, four in a three-point seatbelt and with a height-adjustable head restraint. The centre-rear passenger draws the short straw in this regard. Both front occupants are served with a frontal airbag and a seatbelt pretensioner and load-limiting device. Twin front cupholders are provided while storage solutions extend to bins in all doors, a map pocket behind the front passenger seat, a non-lockable glovebox and a small open spot for loose items in the centre console.
