THE Daihatsu Terios almost creates a niche within a niche in the light-duty small 4WD segment. It is a crossover between Suzuki Jimny and Toyota RAV4 in concept with about the same dimensions as the off-road legitimate Suzuki, yet with no more off-tarmac ability than the Toyota. It does have a full-time 4WD system for on-road security but is not as space efficient inside as the current crop of box-like small cars.
