TERIOS has as standard a five-speed manual transmission borrowed from the Hi-jet mini truck. Its short gearing means the engine spins at high revs, and well above 4000rpm at freeway speeds. A four-speed automatic is available as an option. Terios uses a constant four-wheel drive system and has a centre differential lock, engaged via a button in the cabin, to maintain power to all four wheels.
