Sydney show: limited-edition Daewoos

AUSTRALIA’S newest car company used Sydney to unveil three new limited-edition versions of the 1.8-litre Lacetti sedan and 1.5-litre Kalos sedan and hatch.

Heralding the first of GM Daewoo’s optional bodykit program, which starts in November, the company will sell 250 special Kalos sedan and hatch models in blue red or silver paint from next week.

Price is $17,490 for the hatch (plus $2000 for auto) and $19,490 for the auto-only sedan, each of which features (four) alloy wheels, ABS, central locking, power left mirror, body-coloured (heated) mirrors and a carbon-look interior.

Also on sale this month, 500 examples of the limited edition auto-only Lacetti sedan will sell at $24,790. Each features full leather trim, (five) alloy wheels, climate control, ABS, six-CD audio, side airbags and silver interior highlights.
