THE VTR was a rarity at launch - a coupe for less than $25,000 before on-road costs. At an end of the market where mundane Mitsubishis and Hyundais dominate, the VTR is a breath of European fresh air - even if it is quite conservative in its looks and execution. In a fashion conscious area like coupes (even if the VTR is actually a hatch), a bit of flair and exclusivity counts for a lot. The Citroen badge must help here.
