THE Xsara Coupe employs disc brakes all round, including ventilated discs up front. The diameter at the front is 266mm and at the rear they are 247mm. An anti-lock braking system with electronic brake force distribution (EBD) is optional on the VTR and standard on the VTS. Citroen says EBD helps the brakes adjust automatically and instantaneously to achieve maximum braking for each wheel.
