The Peugeot connection can be seen as a positive - the Xsara picks up the 306's peerless-in-class chassis, renowned for its splendid balance of ride, handling and roadholding qualities. So it is comfortable in a Renault sort of way, well equipped and capable of taking up to five passengers, with luggage.
