CITROEN’S Grand C4 Picasso has arrived in Australia, along with the French brand’s hopes of adding some excitement to the people-mover segment.

The new-gen model is built on PSA’s latest EMP2 platform, while local distributor Sime Darby has simplified the line-up down to one specification level and one powertrain.

Entering the market just weeks after Honda launched its new Odyssey, the Citroen has a lot to offer in terms of space, value for money and style, but Citroen’s biggest challenge could be convincing buyers to look at a quirky European alternative.

It would be worth a family’s while to do exactly that, because it has a lot to offer.
