THE C5 is slightly longer, slightly wider and a lot taller than the Xantia, so it gains noticeably in interior space, particularly in the impression of interior space with the forward-flung A-pillars. Citroen has always used front-drive to its best advantage in providing spacious cabins and the C5 continues the tradition - although it can get a little tight on rear legroom if front-seat travel is used greedily. The close-to-flat floor pan also helps interior space.
