CLIMATE-CONTROL air-conditioning is standard on the V6 C5, with split temperature controls allowing different comfort zones to be selected on either side of the cabin. The system uses sensors that measure sunlight strength as well as interior air temperature for more accurate control. The C5 also has a heat-reflecting windscreen with a sheet of metal inserted between the two layers of glass reducing interior temperature by as much as 30 degrees compared to a conventional tinted windscreen. The sun sensor enables the interior temperature to be raised by one degree at night. An anti-odour pollen filter is also part of the deal.
