STEERING column stalks sprout from four places in the C5, the left side looking after lights and cruise control, the right side controlling wipers/washers and the sound system. The trip computer is also controlled via a button on the end of the wiper/washer stalk. The master electric window switch is mounted on the driver's door. The windscreen wipers have an automatic rain-sensing function on all models. Park-distance sensors are fitted to the rear bumper and emit audible warnings as the C5 closes in on other objects while parking.
