THE C5 comes with anti-lock brakes (ABS) featuring electronic brake force distribution (EBD) to correctly apportion braking pressure before the ABS is activated. Emergency braking assistance is also there to increase brake pressure beyond normal levels when needed. A traction control system (ASR), working through the ABS to send braking forces to a slipping wheel, is also standard on the V6.
