POWER-assisted four-wheel discs, ventilated at the front, are standard on the C5. So is anti-lock, along with electronic brake force distribution and brake assist - the latter to maximise braking force in emergency situations. The front discs are slightly smaller in diameter and thickness than those used in the V6 model. The parking brake operates on the front callipers.
