Citroen releases C4 VTR

Citroen has introduced a $29,990 VTR version of its C4 five-door hatchback, which combines a five-speed manual gearbox paired with the 103kW 2.0-litre engine for the first time.

The VTR gets the 17-inch "Resolfen" alloy wheels and deep front bumper and airdam used on the C4 Coupe VTS, while inside there are sports front seats, stitched leather on the steering wheel rim, and carbon-fibre trim around the centre console and gearstick.

Citroen claims the VTR can reach 100km/h in 9.2 seconds and return 7.6L/100km.
