CHRYSLER Australia has named Essendon Chrysler Jeep Dodge as its 2009 Dealer of the Year, presenting the Victorian dealership – which opened in 2008 – with the award at a gala dinner last month in Melbourne.

“This trophy is proof of the hard work that is shown by each team member at Essendon Chrysler Jeep Dodge,” said dealer principal Paul Hopper.

“To win this award in our first full 12 months of being open is very satisfying. It demonstrates our devotion to customer service.”Chrysler’s Regional Dealer of the Year (DOTY) award went to Northern Rivers Chrysler Jeep Dodge in NSW, with Provincial DOTY named as Northstar Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Queensland.

Albion Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Queensland was recognised at the Top Volume Dealer for the 11th year in a row, while Albion dealer principal Bob Muller also won an award for Top Sales Satisfaction Index.

The award for Top Customer Satisfaction Index went to Geelong City Motors in Victoria.

“These awards celebrate how dedicated our dealers are to our brands and their business, regardless of market conditions,” said Chrysler Australia managing director Gerry Jenkins.
