Chrysler gets gassed

BY MARTON PETTENDY | 1st Jul 2008

CHRYSLER’S 300C enjoyed its best sales month in almost a year during May, when 159 buyers bought the big sedan – without the option of an LPG Autogas conversion that has since become available through all Chrysler dealers.

Officially sanctioned by Chrysler Australia, the Vapour Sequential Injection (VSI) LPG system was developed by Parnell LP Gas Systems in Victoria and includes components from Netherlands kit manufacturer Prins Autogassystem, and is available on both six- and eight-cylinder 300C and Jeep Grand Cherokee models.

In conjunction with Chrysler Australia, Parnell is also developing LPG conversion kits for other Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep models, which will also become available via all Chrysler dealers.
