April updates for Chery Tiggo 4

CHERY will introduce a newly styled version of its Tiggo 4 small SUV from later this month, the popular model to arrive with cosmetic and technological changes across a familiar two-variant range.

Still priced from $23,990 drive-away, the 2025 Chery Tiggo 4 Urban and Ultimate sport newly designed 17- or 18-inch wheels (grade dependent), a revised rear-end design with LED lighting, dual 10-inch instrumentation and infotainment screens, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, six-speaker sound, voice control, seven airbags, and an “impressive array of driver assistance features”.

Additionally, the range-topping Ultimate grade adds a 15-watt wireless phone charger joining a 360-degree camera system and LED ambient cabin lighting.

Both Chery Tiggo 4 grades continue to be motivated by Chery’s turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine developing 108kW of power and 210Nm of torque. Combined cycle fuel consumption is listed at 7.4 litres per 100km with CO2 emissions of 168 grams per kilometre.

The Tiggo 4 will continue to be backed with Chery’s seven-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty, seven-year capped price servicing and up to seven years of roadside assistance.

Chery has sold over 5200 examples of the Tiggo 4 in just six months. Year-to-date sales figures show the model is now the fifth best-selling vehicle in its segment with 3338 unit sales to the end of March.

The Cherry Tiggo 4 is topped only by the Hyundai Kona (with 5201 units YTD), MG ZS (4952), GWM Haval Jolion (4160), and Mitsubishi ASX (3439).
