THE X5's standard wheels are 8.5Jx18 five-spoke light alloy, while 255/55R18 all-season tarmac-style tyres are used. The X5 is optionally available with smaller, 7.5Jx17 alloy wheels able to accept snow chains. The smaller wheels are fitted with 235/65R17 all-season tyres. The spare wheel is located inside the vehicle under the luggage compartment.
