AS performance cars go, the M3's boot is enormous, offering a full 410 litres of capacity like other 3 Series cars. The floor is flat, the bootlid folds open to vertical on multi-link hinges located outside the smallish loading aperture and there are two internal lights. Two grab-handles make boot closure easier, while the satellite navigation and CD changer modules are well positioned behind the left-rear wheelarch. A simple toolkit, warning triangle and first-aid kit are supplied, along with an internal fuel flap release and internal release for the split-folding rear seatback. There is no luggage net and just two luggage hooks. Inside the cabin is a decent sized lockable glovebaox, a passenger side-only grabrail, two rear coat hangers, a small armrest compartment, map pockets on each seatback and oddment bins in both doors.
