A MULTITUDE of controls are offered for M3 drivers, including the M5's "sport" button which engages a more aggressive engine performance map. It is located near the stability control off switch and tyre pressure warning light. Cruise and audio controls are located on the steering wheel while the fog lights, instrument illumination adjustment, Xenon headlights and their washers are controlled via the Euro-style switch on the right-hand side of the dashboard. The rain-sensing, variable intermittent wipers are controlled via the right-hand stalk, with the left-hand stalk operating the indicators. The steering wheel is adjustable for height and reach while the heated and electrically operated mirrors are controlled via switches on the driver's armrest. The trip computer displays fuel range, average speed, average fuel consumption, time and outside temperature, while rear parking sensors are also standard. All four windows (including the horizontally opening rear windows) have an auto-down function via the controls on the centre console.
