STEERING is another of the M3's greatest assets. Continuing in its use of a rack and pinion arrangement, the system allows 3.2 turns between steering locks and delivers a practical 11-metre turning circle. The leather-bound steering wheel iself is small, thick-rimmed and feels very sporty. It remains adjustable for both height and reach.
