THE E46-based M3 is an entirely new model, carrying over little more than its basic engine and suspension configuration from the previous E36. Clothed in the most wildly modified M3 body ever, the new super-coupe gets a totally revised, more powerful engine, a more sophisticated version of the Sequential M Gearbox, compound brakes, a clever locking differential and vastly improved chassis integrity and dynamics.
