THE 330i comes with a brilliant five-speed automatic transmission featuring Steptronic "sequential manual" control. Manual control is achieved by moving the leather trimmed shift lever to the left, where the driver can shift up or down by simply flicking the lever forwards or backwards repectively. The transmission also features BMW's Adaptive Transmission Management (ATM) system, which adjusts to differing road and driving demands.
