AT 410 litres, the boot is quite impressive in its size. Its flexibility is aided by a rear-seat individual split-fold and a skiport. The split-fold opening levers are actually hidden in the boot for security reasons. The flat floor has shallow bins at either side and the entire boot is fabric-lined. A toolkit sits in a special tray in the lid and BMW says there is a medical kit and warning triangle in the boot as well, although we found the kit under the front passenger seat. The boot can be opened using the remote key or an electric button in the cockpit. Of course, in European style when the car is unlocked it can also be opened manually.
