BMW's on-board monitor with in-built TV tuner is standard but the satellite navigation system is an option. Version 3.0 of "BMW Navigation" is now being offered and this includes mapping of all mainland capitals. The BMW system also provides the major highways linking the capital cities and the ability to nominate destinations by street number. The maps are stored on CD-Roms and contain additional information about wineries, ski resorts, churches and BMW dealers.
