SET in a deep pod, the four dials are ringed in chrome with numbers in italics on a grey background. The speedo and tachometer are given equal prominence with a fuel gauge and temperature gauge in support. An instant fuel consumption gauge sits inside the tacho dial but it is a needle rather than the digital-type widely used these days. In typical Euro-style, a plethora of warning check lights spring to life when you turn the ignition key. There is also a rather abrasive klaxon to warn you when you have left the lights on.
