A PUSH-BUTTON climate control air-conditioning system is fitted as standard.

The heating system is designed to give occupants their desired temperature inside the car about five minutes earlier than on the previous model. A recent change was the addition of a solar sensor on 3 Series sedans and coupes which improves the climate control system. All 3 Series sedans come with a microfilter featuring a large filter area for a virtually unobstructed flow of air. The microfilter can retain all particles down to a size of 5 microns - which also means pollen, dust and germs - as well as 77 per cent of particles down to 0.3 microns.
