Audi R8 from $260,000

AS GOAUTO predicted last week, Audi has priced its forthcoming R8 supercar from $259,900.

Due for release in Australia in September, the AWD coupe uses a mid-mounted 309kW/430Nm 4.2-litre V8 mated to either a six-speed manual or a sequential-manual automatic gearbox dubbed “R-tronic”.

The latter will be priced from $274,900.
