AUDI’S second-generation Q7 has been wildly popular since its launch in September last year, topping its segment in the first couple of months of 2016, all off the back of just one variant – the 3.0 TDI.

The German giant has added a new version that loses some of the spec as well as a little power and torque of the 200kW 3.0 TDI, but it is all to get the price below $100,000.

Critics and consumers alike have praised the new-gen Q7 for its dynamic abilities and ride quality, but has dropping the power dimmed the Q7’s appeal?
