AUDI is already on a sales winner with its recently-arrived Q5, so the addition of a four-cylinder turbo-diesel and V6 petrol powerplants to the range only serves to increase this car’s widespread appeal. Yet, as with the existing 2.0 TFSI petrol and 3.0 V6 TDI diesel versions, it is the smaller-engined and less expensive of the two newcomers that impresses more, thanks to a balanced and thoughtful powertrain application. As it stands, the now-complete Q5 has the wherewithal to reign supreme in its growing segment.
