THE Audi Navigation System Plus is fitted standard on the S6. The system is neatly integrated into the dash fascia and the five-inch LCD screen has built-in television reception. The screen, which can be tilted toward either the driver or front passenger, is also used to display radio or compact disc settings, as well as local TV stations when the car is stationary. When in sat-nav mode, the driver can opt for either a map or information display. A "navigation" button positioned on the dash activates the main menu, while a knob within easy reach of the driver is used to control the system. The unit is equipped with security coding to prevent it from being reactivated by an unauthorised person following removal from the car.
