A STRIP of genuine carbon-fibre sweeps across the S6 dash and doors and makes a lasting impression on the interior. The same trim is used on the dash fascia and centre console, while chrome is used effectively on the interior doorhandles, transmission surround and steering wheel. The instrument binnacle houses a unique S6 tacho (redline 7000rpm) and 300km/h speedo, along with conventional gauges for fuel, volts and temperature. The Audi driver information system (DIS) is there, too, displaying in-car computer settings, auto-check information and outside temperature. As it's an auto, a transmission indicator is also provided. The dash and most instruments light up in a deep red colour at night.
